COVID-19 Update March 20, 2020
In accordance with recommendations from the NB Public Health, Maritime Psychology Clinic closed the office to the public on March 20, 2020. We are adopting the principles of social distancing to help contain the spread of COVID-19.
We recognize that adjusting to this new reality will be difficult for our clients and their families, and that continuity of care during this time is paramount. Our psychologists will continue to hold scheduled sessions with their clients via phone or video conferencing, adopting the policies and procedures of ethical and privacy-compliant telehealth. Clinicians will be in touch with active clients directly to help them move through next steps.
Please note, we will still be accepting new clients through telehealth. New and existing clients can contact our office manager, Darlene Pitre-Jomphe, or their individual clinicians, at 506-855-5515, or email firstname.lastname@example.org
Thank you for understanding and cooperation during this challenging time.

Areas of Practice
It is normal for adults and children to experience occasional low mood or periods of increased stress and/or anxiety. However, if these periods are long- lasting, and interfere with activities of daily living (i.e., self-care, work, school, and/or relationships with others) you may want to consider seeking professional support.
Our psychologists treat both children and adults. We also treat couples and families. We can help those who want assistance dealing with any of the following:
Anxiety and mood disorders
Autism spectrum disorders
Divorce and co-parenting
Coping with the effects of past or current abuse

Call for an Appointment
Although you can self-refer to our clinic, some insurance companies request a physician referral to a psychologist before they provide reimbursement. We recommend calling your insurance provider (e.g., Blue Cross®, Sun Life Financial, Great-West Life etc.) before attending your first session so you know if a physician referral is needed, the extent of your coverage and how to seek reimbursement from your insurance company.
Our psychologists are experienced and knowledgeable and offer their expertise within a caring and understanding environment.
